Lewisville Lake is one of the largest lakes in North Texas, just 9 miles west of Frisco. It’s an amazing recreational lake and is ideal for party boats, jet skis, waterskiing, and fishing. Things to Do at Lewisville Lake

1. Party Cove

The most popular area at Lewisville Lake is Party Cove – located near Westlake Park. This is the ultimate place to be on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. People jam out to music on their parked boats, while they sip on a cool drink or swim around. For boat rentals, we recommend DFW Charters.

2. Jet Ski

If you are looking to get the wind in your face, you can rent jet skis at Jet Ski Rental Dallas. Their prices vary between $90-$110 an hour. They bring the jet skis directly to the lake, so you don’t need to worry about towing. Jet skiing is a fun way to see different areas of the lake while enjoying some adventure. 

3. Camping

For some of the best camping in Northern Texas, Lewisville Lake is the spot to go. There are over 100 RV and tent sites which can be booked at $28 or $30 per night. The most popular is Hickory Creek Park, but others include Lake Park Campgrounds, Pilot Knoll Campgrounds, Stewart Creek Park Campgrounds, Sycamore Bend Park Campgrounds, and Willow Grove Park Campgrounds. 

4. Fishing

For an ultimate fishing experience, you can hire a guide from BendaRod Fishing. A guide helps you find the biggest fish and they guarantee at least one catch. There is also Phill’s Guide Service which specializes in hybrid striper, white bass, and crappie fish. We recommend these guides for individuals or families.
