Sports Vision Exam
If you are competing in a specialized sporting event or are actively training in a sport, we can fit glasses and sunglasses specified to your needs. Avant-Garde Optometry has an entire line of sunglasses that optimize each sport. The Rudy project was originally designed for Triathlons and Iron Mans but has grown to include all athletic wear. Some of the glasses are made to transition depending on the lighting for runners, bikers, triathletes that start at dawn (low light) and transition to a much darker lens as the race/event unfolds at mid-day. At this time, we commonly fit bikers, and golfers but would love to fit more sportswear. If you would like to know more information, please ask our opticians.
